I finally finished editing the pictures of a space that I am dying to share with you. This past summer I launched Rescued Home Interiors, an interior decorating and creative design business, a business I have been building for years. I feel like I have spent the past 6 months really wrestling with the direction I needed to go with my business. It has been a wild ride!
This space was my first non-residential space. I really enjoyed getting a vision for it, running with it and seeing the finished product. My assignment was to convert a once coffee shop into a classroom/meeting space for at least 25 people. The space had some structural constraints like a bar covered in sheet metal and cabinets that couldn’t be removed. I drew inspiration from the Urban Organic color collection by Sherwin Williams. I allowed the name Urban Organic to direct my choices with furniture and accessories. ”Urban” could be described as metal, smooth surfaces, industrial, straight or angled lines and ”organic” could be described as wood, warm colors, natural fibers, primitive.
Drum roll please…..Rescued Home Interiors presents to you a Texas Hill Country Urban Organic Meeting Space!
With love,
Lauren
